OB Unit for Sony China

We are delighted to confirm another order from Sony following on from our supply of an earlier vehicle to Sony Belarus.
The latest order is for Sony China’s client NXTV, a major regional broadcaster in China.

The vehicle is a sophisticated single expanding side trailer with sophisticated broadcasting capabilities and is due for delivery to China in autumn 2011.

The trailer will incorporate our innovative CANBus electrical system design for the first time in a vehicle of its type and this will provide a host of advantages including:-

• Programmable ultra fast digital fuses replace conventional circuit breakers and fuses
• Improved safety for operating staff
• Increased protection for delicate on-board electrical
• Reduced environmental impact
• Elimination of hundreds of metres of electrical cabling
• Reduced overall vehicle weight
